KARLIS ROZNIEKS

Karlis Roznieks is the owner and executive leader of MGRK GROUP LTD, with 20+ years of international experience building and scaling operating businesses for institutional exits. His mandate is clear: drive EBITDA growth, expand margins, and compound equity value.

He operates with a private-equity playbook focused on organic EBITDA growth, multiple expansion, and cash-flow generation. Capital is deployed selectively to high-return initiatives, operational inefficiencies are removed, and cost structures are optimized to improve margins. Governance, reporting, and controls are built to institutional standards to support leverage, diligence readiness, and execution certainty.

Under his leadership, MGRK GROUP LTD is being positioned as a scalable platform targeting value creation through operational improvement, selective buy-and-build acquisitions, balance-sheet optimization, and market consolidation. Returns are driven by EBITDA growth, multiple expansion at exit, and deleveraging over a defined hold period, with exit optionality via strategic sale or recapitalization to deliver outsized equity returns for U.S. private equity and family office investors.

FOUNDER

Maris Putans serves as in-house legal counsel to MGRK GROUP LLC, bringing over 15 years of professional experience supporting complex business operations and transaction-driven projects. He provides commercially focused legal oversight aligned with investor requirements, operational execution, and risk management.

His role emphasizes practical legal solutions, efficient decision-making, and close coordination with executive leadership and external advisors. His philosophy is execution-driven, with a focus on delivering measurable results through decisive action, ensuring that legal strategy directly supports capital deployment, project timelines, and long-term value creation.

Maris brings significant international experience, including multi-year involvement in Scandinavia and the United Kingdom, where he played an active role in large-scale real estate and operating-company projects from initial structuring through execution and successful completion. His in-house perspective prioritizes execution certainty, transparency, and alignment with U.S. investor and lender expectations.

MYLES W. HARRISON

Myles W. Harrison serves as Group Operations Director and Partner, bringing over 20 years of experience in manufacturing, industrial production, and cross-border operational leadership. He specializes in building, stabilizing, and scaling production platforms within multi-site and buy-and-build environments.

Myles leads operational strategy across manufacturing and logistics functions, with a focus on post-acquisition integration, performance optimization, and scalable process implementation. His expertise includes Lean-driven operational improvement, throughput optimization, cost rationalization, supply chain alignment, and margin expansion. He plays a key role in aligning production systems across acquired assets to ensure operational consistency and measurable EBITDA growth.

He has led complex operational initiatives across the United Kingdom, Scandinavia, Belgium, and Italy, successfully restructuring underperforming facilities, implementing standardized production frameworks, and accelerating synergy capture within consolidated platforms.

As a Partner, Myles contributes to strategic planning and value creation initiatives, ensuring that operational infrastructure supports sustainable growth, integration efficiency, and exit readiness within a defined investment horizon.

GROUP OPERATIONS DIRECTOR | PARTNER

Al is a financial and IT management professional with over 20 years of experience as CFO, Financial Director, VP of Finance, Controller, etc. He has led and mentored teams of up to 70 people in Manufacturing, Commercial, Educational, Non-Profit, and other Private organizations with up to $2 billion dollars in budgetary responsibility. Besides leading and managing financial departments, his experience also includes the selection, implementation, and staff training on multiple software solutions, including ERPs (especially Acumatica), time management software, and payroll software. 

His experience has led him to greatly improve revenues, profitability, availability of information, efficiency and procedures in general through strategic financial planning, analysis, implementation of best practices, review of procedures, and improving the usage of existing software solutions, or introducing new ones when needed. 

Al has enjoyed learning about a multitude of cultures and a couple of languages throughout his travels and life, having lived in Canada, Mexico, Spain and the U.S.A. He also enjoys skiing (downhill, cross country, and water), hiking, nature in general, and has been known to practice fencing every now and then. He also enjoys, among many other things,computer simulations, books, and cultural activities.

AL BALMASEDA

Brian Hade serves as Partner and Managing Director of Real Estate & Hospitality at MGRK GROUP LLC, bringing over 25 years of international experience in real estate development, hospitality investment, and asset platform growth across Ireland, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

At MGRK GROUP LLC, Brian leads the group’s real estate and hospitality investment strategy, focusing on identifying scalable opportunities, structuring development platforms, and executing projects aligned with institutional investor expectations. His role includes sourcing and evaluating opportunities, overseeing development execution, and positioning assets to deliver long-term value and strong investor outcomes.

Brian has extensive experience across the full real estate investment lifecycle, including project origination, capital structuring, development oversight, operational positioning, and exit preparation. His background spans hospitality assets, mixed-use developments, and commercial real estate projects across multiple international markets.

Operating with a private equity mindset, Brian focuses on disciplined project execution, asset value optimization, and scalable growth strategies. Within MGRK GROUP LLC, he works closely with leadership and investors to ensure that real estate and hospitality initiatives are structured, managed, and executed to meet institutional standards while driving sustainable returns and long-term asset value.
